✍️The Central Bank coordinated GMW2022 in Uzbekistan.

Together with three agencies, 17 commercial banks, insurance and four fintech companies, more than 2,254,149 children and young people were involved in 14 financial education events. All of them focused on digital financial literacy, insurance literacy, the use of banking products, services and the basics of financial security. Within the framework of this project, IJDP students took part on May 13, 2022 in a seminar held by specialists of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic: «Improving financial literacy.» Young people learned about digital financial literacy and, in particular, about the prevention of fraud with bank cards and the safe use of digital banking services.
In addition, this year university students had the opportunity to take part in educational competitions, such as the Financial Literacy Championship and the Financial Literacy Olympiad for students of 1-3 courses. The qualifying stage and the semi-finals of the competition were held in an online format. The tasks included test questions on financial literacy with elements of financial mathematics.
